The Global XR Learning Hackathon: Reimagine the Reality is a pioneering international initiative that unites innovators, creators, and tech enthusiasts from 30 eligible countries.
In this revamped format, a designated national host institute from each country takes charge of a country-level event—laying the foundation for a truly global competition culminating in a grand final held in India.

Country Participation
- 1 One designated national host institute per country

Policy design and overall supervision of the hackathon implementation.

Rules and Regulations
Team Formation
Individual teams will not directly participate. Instead, the designated national host institute collects and submits proposals on behalf of all local participants.
- One Institute may register up to 10 Teams per Category
- Each Team comprises 4 Students and 1 Faculty Member
- Teams submit proposals addressing educational/skill challenges
Tool Flexibility
Any XR tool or software (e.g., Blender, EON Reality Platform) may be used for submissions.
Evaluation Criteria
- Creativity and Innovation: Originality and uniqueness of the idea
- Feasibility and Impact: Practicality of implementation and potential impact
- Technical Execution: Quality of the XR content, including design and functionality
- Scalability: Potential for widespread adoption and future development
- Alignment: Relevance to the hackathon's objectives and NSDC's mission
Intellectual Property
All XR content developed during the hackathon will become the intellectual property of NSDC. Participants grant NSDC the right to use, modify, and distribute the content for educational and promotional purposes. Proper credit will be given to the creators in all relevant use cases.
Code of Conduct
Participants must conduct themselves professionally and ethically throughout the event. Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or disruptive behavior will lead to immediate disqualification.
